After a whirlwind Portland shopping trip I realized one thing:
I’m way too obsessed with Nordstrom.
My accessories department has been lacking, so I spent a good amount of time bulking it up.
I also bought:
A necklace from Forever 21
A flower clip from H&M
And a flower headband from Claires
A friend went in there for a plastic-y tiara and I left with a flower headband.
My energy for shopping has stemmed from Pumpkin Oatmeal
Surprise, surprise?
In the mix
- 1/3 c. oatmeal
- 1/4 c. organic canned pumpkin
- 1 T flaxseed meal
- 2 T raisins
- Topped with about 2 T almond butter
Amazing.

I’ve been reading your blog for a while and I love your perspective/ideas on eating well while on a meal plan! I recently went to Marshalls and almost bought out the store. They have such good prices! I even found some inexpensive trail mix and dark chocolate!
The 1/3 cup oatmeal you used is that rolled oats+ water?
It’s 1/3 c. dry plus however much water you need to cover it. Usually I do a 1/2 c. oatmeal, but with the pumpkin I scale it back just a bit.
I love shopping for purses and shoes. I have to have self control though because I could go wicked overboard.

I have scaled back on my shopping since I have gotten married. My clothing needs have seemed to take the back burner over the groceries, cost of living, maintaining a home, etc… horrible!
Cute buys! I especially love that bird necklace. I always neglect accessories in favour of shopping for tops and cardigans so my wardrobe is totally lacking in the accessories department. I need to change that!

I love Nordstrom’s, too. I also love Forever 21 for trendy accessories. Right now, I am into dresses and spring tops.
I think I could spend HOURS looking/trying on running shoes and workout clothes. No joke! When I’m bored (or want to put of studying) I design running shoes online! Guilty
I enjoy shopping period. It doesn’t matter what I’m looking for!

Bloomingdale’s is my problem – I cannot stop visiting that store and I somehow manage to get to locations in random places like Minnesota.
